Process of Interpretive Planning Training

Use this for: Staff (or particularly engaged volunteers) who are involved in crafting an interpretive plan for your site, experience, programs, or exhibits. This five-day workshop is an intensive dive into the process of interpretive planning. Participants should have a solid understanding of "Interpretation 101" (including what interpretation is and some examples of how it is done). Throughout the workshop, you'll learn about crafting interpretive goals and themes, understanding your audience, identifying visitor experience, the pros and cons of various interpretive methods, and more. Participants will go through the process of creating an abridged interpretive plan for the workshop's host site.
