Use this for: Crafting job descriptions, professional development plans, RFPs, and contracts related to interpretive roles and projects. This document, created by the National Association for Interpretation, lays out various knowledge areas and skills/abilities they feel are necessary tools for working within interpretation. The standards are separated into categories for five types of roles: general interpretation, interpretive media (exhibit design, interpretive writing, editing and digital media), interpretive management, interpretive planning, and interpretive training.
