Join us for our next partner field trip! Meet in Bellingham on Thursday, October 29th from 2:00 – 5:00 pm to explore how you can utilize guided tours to interpret our state’s maritime heritage. Our itinerary includes:
- Shore Leave walking tour of Bellingham’s waterfront led by local-favorite tour company, the Good Time Girls: Belling-history served salty with tales from our maritime past—of ships, smuggling, sailors, sea monsters and more! Explore Bellingham’s waterfront with a walking tour around the Old Town District. Learn about Bellingham’s maritime history including the evolution of our town’s shorelines, ships that graced our harbor, sailor’s favorite port pastimes, deadly rumrunner encounters, elusive sea serpents and more. This tour runs around 1-1.5 hours with a total distance less than one mile.
- Debrief over happy hour with Maritime Washington partners and interpretive specialist Emily Jacobs
