Maritime Washington Partner Scholarships

To support Maritime Washington Partners in their work to celebrate, maintain, and share our state’s maritime heritage, we are proud to offer a limited number of scholarships to attend conferences or trainings.

Partners may request up to $750 to fund registration fees, travel and lodging costs, and/or meals. Applications are reviewed by Maritime Washington staff on a rolling basis, and there is limited funding available, so we encourage partners to plan well in advance when making their requests.

The fine print:

Funding will be granted on a reimbursement basis. To receive the award, recipients must provide receipts for expenses.
Recipients will be asked to write a short article or report to share with the rest of the partner network the best practices learned at the conference/training.
Each partner organization may only receive one scholarship within a 12-month period.
Conferences/trainings should be clearly related to the partner’s work to interpret and/or preserve maritime heritage.
