Partner Workshop: Responsible Tourism

How can your sites, programs, and partnerships help encourage more responsible visitation along Washington’s saltwater shores? Join the Maritime Washington Partner Network for a virtual workshop dedicated to fostering more sustainable visitation in our region, with real-world examples of how organizations like yours are taking action. We’ll hear from four entities about their work to promote responsible tourism, including:

• Jaime Martin and Sarah Ballew, Snoqualmie Indian Tribe
• Amy Nesler, San Juan Islands Visitors Bureau
• Marie Shimada, community organizer on Whidbey Island
• Caroline Villanova, Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust and Washington’s Recreate Responsibly Coalition
